-Who will be the person videotaping my wedding?
Me, Cole Cullen. I am the owner/operator of Eloc Media, and when you hire Eloc Media, you are hiring me to do the shooting and the editing. Of course, if you choose a multi-camera package, I would hire another video professional, but I will still act as the primary videographer.

-What do you do if your equipment malfunctions?
If a camera malfunctions, I am prepared. I always carry at least one back-up digital video camera.

-Aren't videographers obnoxious and constantly in the way at weddings?
Sometimes, yes! I, however, believe that no video or photograph will be better than your memories of the actual day. Because of this viewpoint, I will approach your special day as a bystander, not as someone who needs to be in the center of attention. I do my best to stay out of the way at all times, and I try not to obstruct the view of any of your guests.

-Do you work with the photographer and DJ?
Yes, I work alongside of the photographer, staying out of his way the best that I can. The DJ runs the reception, and I constantly communicate with the DJ to keep up with the events of the party

-Do you shoot in digital?
Yes, both my primary camera and my back-up camera are Mini-DV format, a digital video format good enough for broadcast.

-Do you use special effects while editing?
I use very little if any special effects while editing. I believe that if the video is shot well originally, there is no need to cover anything up with "special effects."

-Do you use a wireless microphone?
Yes. Typically, I put a wireless microphone on the groom. This records the vows from both the bride and the groom. I only use the audio from the vows, so you need not worry about whispering sweet nothings to each other during the service!

-Can I see a sample of your work?
Of course. I prefer to meet with you, rather than just send you a tape. This way, I can show you examples of exactly what package you may be interested in. Or, sometimes I can even show you a wedding and/or reception that was held where yours will be held. It also gives me an opportunity to meet you and you to meet me. You'll be seeing a lot of me on your wedding day; you really should make sure you like me first!

-How long does it take to do my video?
I guarantee delivery within 6 weeks from the Monday after your wedding. If I don't get it to you by then, you get 10% of your money back for each week it is late.

-Do you use one of those obnoxious camera lights?
Unfortunately, yes. I only use the light when I absolutely have to, and that is usually only at the reception. Video technology has not come far enough along to be able to produce nice images in low-light situations without the aid of a light. Because of this, I must use a light when it is dark during the reception. I am, however, always aware of aiming it directly into your guest's eyes and just being a general annoyance.

-Do you interview my guests?
Only if you want me to. There are two schools of thought about this: The "Oh, those would be wonderful memories to have" idea and the "I hate when Wedding Videographers bother me at weddings, I don't want my guests bothered at my wedding" idea. I will do whatever you prefer.

-Do you customize packages?
Yes, in fact, I would estimate that 65% of my past clients have chosen what I would call "Custom Packages." The packages I have listed on this website are really just starting points. You shouldn't be limited by packages and pricing, because no two people want the same thing. If you see features in one package that you like, but don't want to pay for that package, then we can move that option to a cheaper package and adjust the price accordingly.

-Do you do DVDs?
Yes. Every package Eloc Media produces is delivered on 3 VHS tapes and 1 DVD with interactive menus.

-How long do you shoot for?
For the full-day coverage packages, I shoot for seven hours from the start of the wedding. I will arrive at the wedding site one hour prior to the start of the service.

-Can you shoot at the Bride's home prior to the wedding?
Yes, I can. The typical contracted day lasts for seven hours from the time of the wedding. Usually, I arrive at the wedding site one hour before the wedding. If you wish, I can go to the Bride's home instead, and adjust the timing of the day.
